I've been commissioned to make a portrait doll of a scrumptious little baby boy called Lawrence. Lesley of  http://www.silver-artz.co.uk/, a fab site selling gorgeous jewelry and gifts, has just been blessed with a beutiful grandson and I am honoured to have been asked to capture his likeness. I've just made a start on him, still very rough but he's starting to take shape.


I've now finished the head, here he is, sleeping soundly!

Now I'm off to sculpt the limbs..



Little Lawrence now has some arms, here he is taking his afternoon nap, waiting for his legs to be sculpted! It won't be long now until he's with his grandmother Lesley..


I've sculpted Lawrences legs now, unfortunately I did keep forgetting to take photos so this slideshow is not as detailed as the rest.

Now I just need to paint his legs and then I get to do my favourite part, putting the doll together..
