Juliette is a beautiful newborn baby girl, just a few days old. She was sculpted using photos of a very special newborn baby girl, my daughter Isobel. Isobel is now 3 but when she was tiny she had the cutest habit of sucking in her little bottom lip, and it was that photo that inspired me to sculpt Juliette. I have studied the facial expressions and body posture of newborns extensively in my work as a portrait sculptor, and I have tried to apply everything I’ve seen and learned in this very special sculpt. I’ve paid great attention to the shape of the limbs, the curve of the skull, and the details of the hands and feet. Juliette is so full of details, right down to her tiny finger and toe nails, she has every wrinkle and crease that you would expect to find on a real newborn. If you love very real looking kits then you won’t be disappointed with Juliette, she’s a little heart-breaker.
